Kim Delaney has won Emmy Awards for the role of Detective Diane Russell. Also, she has appeared in series like All My Children Philly CSI: Miami, Army Wives and CSI: Miami. As the sole daughter to a senior executive of the United Auto Workers and a household worker, Delaney grew up with her four brothers. As a child, she dreamt of being a court reporter. But after she graduated from high school and moving in New York in the 1980s and began to model, she was hooked. In 1981, she starred as an innocent teenager in the film All My Children. Delaney was a talented young actress in the 80s, has been featured in numerous TV shows and in dramas. Her career as a professional has been better than her personal life. The skilled actor been battling alcoholism and she has experienced two divorces. In 2005, the actress lost custody over her only son.
